Terms of use
Last updated October 27, 2026
These terms cover your use of memorialprogrammaker.com. By using the site you agree to them.
What the service does
You can make a funeral program, write an obituary or eulogy with optional writing help, preview everything for free, and pay to download clean, print-ready PDF files.
We are an independent online tool, not a funeral home, and not connected to any funeral home, church or cemetery. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or grief counseling advice.
Your words and photos
- What you write and the photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to make your files.
- Please add only photos and words you have the right to use, and check that names, dates and details are correct before you print.
- Don’t use the site to make anything unlawful, hateful, or meant to deceive or harm someone.
The writing help
The obituary and eulogy writers make a first draft from your answers using an AI model. We tell it to use only what you give it and we list any name or number we can’t find in your answers, but it can still get things wrong. You are responsible for reading a draft and changing it before you use it.
Drafts need a free sign-in with your email. Each account gets 3 free drafts, and an order adds 20 more for its 30 days. We may pause the writing help at any time.
Payments
- Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Each purchase is a one-time payment, with no subscription.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- A purchase covers the program you made it for. For 30 days you can change that program and download it again. It includes enough downloads for normal family use, not for reselling.
Refunds
You can refund a purchase yourself within 14 days, without giving a reason. See the refund policy.
Printing
We make the files to standard paper sizes and test them, but printers vary. Print one copy and check it before you print the rest. We aren’t responsible for printing costs or for printing problems we can’t control.
Limits
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase in question.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don’t affect a purchase you’ve already made.
